What is my why?
RRS2 was born out of a desire to make a difference in the business community, locally here in Las Vegas and beyond. I was working at an SBA funded non-profit helping people start and grow businesses. First time entrepreneurs and even existing ones often found it intimidating and complicated to create business models, value propositions and marketing plans what would provide the foundation for their business and set them up for success. Let’s be honest, most entrepreneurs want to do what they love and what they love is usually not the dark side of business. Bakers want to bake, web designers want to design, app developers want to create cool stuff. People don’t really want to be bothered with the “boring” and “painful” parts of business. But those parts are the ones that usually decide if a business is going to be a success. So I decided to take the models and tools that are already existing, combined with personal and professional experience and make a business building and growth experience that’s quick and can also provide results. Or quickly show what won’t work before lots of money is spent.
The world needs more entrepreneurs and small businesses to rejuvenate communities by creating and retaining jobs. Money earned within a community or neighborhood often gets spent there. When small businesses win, everyone wins. And that is something I definitely want to be a part of. I want my story to include yours. That is why I do what I do.
A bit about Robb
I’ve always loved travel and adventure. The picture was taken while hiking in Lushoto, Tanzania a few years ago. My favorite trips were the ones that were researched enough to be prepared, but no reservations so I could adjust as I wanted or needed.
Being an entrepreneur has been an amazing adventure. Each day bringing something new. Sometimes it’s amazing and other times it can, well, suck. But that is exactly what I love about it. Businesses are not lifeless objects, but rather living adventures where anything can, and eventually usually does happen. Rolling up my sleeves and getting into a business and making things happen is one of my favorite things to do. When you hire me or my team, I know you have a job you need to get done. But my main job, is caring about your business.
Outside of business, I love to take road trips with my camera, exploring the random roads to nowhere. I volunteer with the Boys Scouts of America as a Membership Committee member for Las Vegas Area Council. I am passionate about enjoying all life has to offer and have way too many interests and hobbies to fit into this limited space.
